What Am I Doing?

Well, another day being alive and being able to think/ponder is definitely interesting.  Being on a somewhat passionate journey to study certain topics regarding aspects about life has turned out to be a bigger endeavor than I ever imagined it to be.   There is sooooo much to explore!  Topic A leads into topic B and into C, and back to A, then back to C and so on.  It never ends!  My journey to understand various topics has been an “all over the place” adventure, and has taken a number of years, traveling to various locations and with great influential friends and deep thinkers.  I have reached a point at which I am no longer “stumbling” or aimlessly meandering through life, but rather moving with purpose and direction.

I’ve enjoyed countless conversations with friends and acquaintances about topics such as love, religion, kindness, gratefulness, happiness, purpose, beauty, mystery, fulfillment and a host of others.  The epiphany I’ve experienced is simply that these topics are all interconnected.  There is something so very interesting at how our world is so vastly complex, with all the various cultures, environments and species.  Our complexity is merely a perspective of the world based on environmental, cultural and scientific knowledge.  I’m learning we can choose to see the world as vastly complex, and conversely very simple.  In the posts to come, I’ll be exploring a number of the topics I mentioned.  I hope you’ll walking with me on this journey, and possibly even become a part of it!  I welcome comments, corrections (in a respectful manner) and even encouraging conversations.
